RIM announced new BlackBerry Bold 9790 and Curve 9380
Today, Research in Motion (RIM) has announced two new Smartphone the Bold 9790 and Curve 9380, which is running on BlackBerry 7 operating system.
The New BlackBerry Bold 9790 has 1GHz processor, 2.45-inch display touch screen and QWERTY keyboard with optical trackpad, 1230 mAh battery, 5MP camera with VGA video recording, Wi-Fi, 10 x 2.36 x 11.4 mm dimensions with a weight of 107 grams, microSD card slot and 8GB internal storage. It supports to expand the storage for up to 32GB via memory card.
It has all features and functions of the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Bold 9780 and the Torch 9860.
While, BlackBerry Curve 9380 includes with 3.2-inch touch screen display, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, 512 MB RAM and, 806 MHz processor, 109 x 60 x 11.2 mm dimension, 98 grams in weighs. The Curve 9380 is pre-loading with a bunch of social network app like BBM, Facebook and Twitter.
Both devices support to Augmented Reality and near field communications (NFC). Augmented Reality is allowing users to connect with their friends via social apps, while NFC offer services to make mobile payments, pair accessories and reading advertising tags.
“Availability dates for specific devices from specific carriers will be announced in conjunction with RIM’s partners,” the BlackBerry maker said.
According to RIM, Both BlackBerry Smartphone will be available globally in the coming weeks.
